It is easy to find an Italian restaurant in Munich. However, finding one as welcoming as Risotto might be a challenge.
Hidden behind Schloss Nymphenburg, Risotto convinced us very quickly.
Their motto is “A short trip to Italy”. And we did feel at home there.
Let’s start with the service: amazing, friendly but not intrusive. The waiter explained us a lot about the restaurant and the plates. Moreover he suggested a great wine and amazing cocktails. As the whole team is Italian, the service and the atmosphere created a very authentic and enjoyable experience.
Now to the food. No need to say what is their specialty, the name explains it all. We really did enjoy everything on the menu: from risotto, to pasta, vitello tonnato, pizza and delicious desserts. To start we ordered some shared starters, the vitello tonnato and the burrata were really good.
As a main dish we had pasta cacio e pepe, tagliolini with tartufo, risotto with saffron and salisiccia and pizza.
To conclude our dinner, since we were all pretty satisfied, we shared a cannolo siciliano with pistachio cream.
This Italian restaurant in Munich is perfect for a dinner with family and friends or with your partner.
We reccomend to book in advance to make sure you can find a table.
